For something with such a sweet moniker, “sugarcoat” sure leaves a sour taste in the mouth, doesn’t it?

Nobody wants to be told what they want to hear in a tone so saccharine it sends you straight to your dentist’s chair.

Especially if it was not only sickeningly sweet but lacking as much honesty as it was nutrients.
